Comments: This counterfeit half dollar was cast most likely from a genuine coin of unknown variety. Probably made of lead, it is a dark gray color, weighs 19.02 g. and has 148 well spaced reeds that appear much like those found on genuine coins. Diameter measured at 1.200". Both obverse and reverse are lightly pitted. Rarity is unknown.
