Liberty seated coinage was first created by United States Mint Chief Engraver Christian Gobrecht. Future Chief Engravers that continued the design included James Longacre, and William Barber. Each man had some degree of influence of the image. Learn the story of these men and how they were instrumental in this historic series of United States coinage. Speaker(s): John Frost.
